Ansari & Shah Films in Pakistan and Akli Film in Turkey are producing the next Pak-Turk television serial Kudus Faith Salahuddin Eyyubi  (Urdu: صلاح الدین ایوبی)  The Ayyubid dynasty’s founder, Saladin, is the basis for the television series. Production on the TV show began in the summer of 2022. The show’s primary audience, according to the producers, is non-Muslims who are ignorant of Muslim history. Many Turkish historians are contributing to the series, while Pakistani historians and research writers are helping them along the way.

Cast Saladın: The Conqueror of Jerusalem

In the planned television series, uGu Guns will play Salahuddin Ayyub, also referred to as Salah ad-Din Yusuf bin Ayyub bin Shadi. He will be presented as a Kurdish-Turkish Muslim who founds the Ayyub dynasty and becomes the first ruler of Egypt and Syria.
In the TV series, Dilin Doger’s character, Ismat ad-Din Khatun, who is the wife of both Nur ad-Din Zengi and Salahuddin, will be crucial to the establishment of the Ayyub dynasty and the defense of Muslim countries. Following Nur ad-Din Zengi’s passing, she married Saladin, which is expected to have strengthened her family’s strong political connections and aided Saladin’s desire to rule both Egypt and Syria.

In the TV series, Mehmet Ali Nuroglu will portray Nur ad-Din Zengi, a well-known Muslim king and military leader, as the head of the Zengid dynasty during the Crusader era. Though they are not related, he and Saladin will be portrayed as commanders under the Zengid kingdom. As the Emir of Aleppo and Damascus, Nur ad-Din will be shown as governing over portions of Egypt, Syria, and Iraq.

TBA because Salahuddin’s chief of intelligence and friend was Ali bin Sufyan. He was one of Salahuddin Eyyubi’s closest and most trusted allies.

Casting

There will be actors from Pakistan and Turkey in the series. Salahuddin will be part of the 75% Turkish cast, with the remaining 25% coming from Pakistan. Regarding this, Turkey Akli Film Production declared that it will be conducting talent scouting in Pakistan from October 28, 2021, to November 1, 2021, in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi. Ten thousand people in Pakistan applied for the series hoping to be involved. A total of 60 Pakistani artists—18 from Lahore and 42 from Karachi—were given golden tickets during the audition process out of over 6,000 applicants.
