A 21-year-elderly person has showed up in court accused of the homicide of police local area support official Julia James.
Ms James, 53, was discovered dead on 27 April close to Akholt Wood, Snowdown, close to Dover, having endured genuine head wounds.
Callum Wheeler, from Aylesham, showed up at Medway Judges’ Court face to face.
He has been remanded in care and is next due to show up at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday.
Mr Wheeler talked distinctly to affirm his name, date of birth and address.
Ms James had worked for Kent Police since 2008, and her family said she was “savagely steadfast” and “cherished with her entire heart”.
She had been strolling her canine close to her home at the hour of the assault, police said.
The Crown Arraignment Administration approved a charge of homicide on Monday following Mr Wheeler’s capture by Kent Police at 21:30 BST on Friday.
