US model Chrissy Teigen has apologized to television character Courtney Stodden for tormenting them online 10 years prior.
In 2011, Teigen purportedly sent Stodden messages on Twitter encouraging them to end their own life.
It was around the time that Stodden rose to notoriety as the 16-year-old lady of the hour of entertainer Doug Hutchison, who was 50 at the hour of their wedding.
Stodden acknowledged the expression of remorse however said it might simply be an effort to restrict harm to Teigen’s standing.
